Book of Seven Press is a small independent publisher based in Ramat Gan, Israel. We make one thing: beautifully printed, carefully sourced books of Jewish teaching for readers who are not Jewish and were never told these teachings belong to them too.
Our first title, THE BOOK OF SEVEN, sets out the Seven Laws of Noah, the covenant the Torah describes God making with every human family after the Flood. Every chapter prints its sources in the original Hebrew: the verse in the Torah, the passage of the Talmud (Sanhedrin 56a–b) that derives it, and the ruling of Maimonides (Mishneh Torah, Laws of Kings 8–10). The English renderings are our own, made for this edition, and we say plainly where the classical authorities disagree.
What we are not
We are not a religious organization, a synagogue, or an outreach movement, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any rabbi or rabbinic body. We do not ask anyone to convert to anything. We publish texts and let them speak.
How the books are made
Typeset in Cinzel, Cormorant Garamond and Frank Ruhl Libre. Printed on demand on cream paper by our print partner near you, so nothing is warehoused and nothing is wasted. Every copy is backed by a 30-day guarantee.
